Take A Trip to The Caribbean (August 18th)
Figuratively, not literally!
The Caribbean Festival is celebrating its 33rd annual festival here in Philadelphia! This festival started back in 1991 at Penn’s Landing and has been growing bigger and better each year ever since. Come check out all the amazing wonders the different Caribbean countries have bought to Philadelphia in one spot.
There will be everything from food, crafts, games, dancing, and raffles that will help educate everyone young and old about these one of a kind Caribbean islands. The proceeds from the festival go towards rewarding Caribbean and Caribbean-American students with scholarships, hurricane relief efforts on the islands, and bereavement support in the Caribbean-American community.

40th Street Summer Series (August 17th)
Looking for a free, outdoor place to chill in the city where there might just happen to be free samples of ice cream, music, and a lot of dogs? Look no further! The 40th Street Summer Series is setting up shop this Saturday between 39th and Walnut Streets to bring you live music and good times starting at 6 P.M.!
The 40th Street Summer Series is where local artists all over Philly can come, let their hair loose, and do their thing. No tickets are needed for this event, just an open mind for whatever is in store and a blanket for you and some friends to lay on.

Philly’s favorite street food festival is back this week in the beloved neighborhood of Fairmount! This street festival is now in its 9th season of bringing Philadelphia a local twist on the famous Asian outdoor food markets. This festival is the perfect excuse for you to go out and explore the city you love each time it sets up shop in a different neighborhood. Not only will you get a delicious taste of each new set of vendors, but you will also be able to explore the nooks and crannies that make Philadelphia the intricate city that is is.
