How Many More American Families Will Be Torn Apart Due To Inadequate Gun Regulations?

Since the birth of U.S on 4th July 1776, millions of Americans have been haunted by Gun Violence as the Second Amendment renders every American a constitutional right to possess a gun for their own protection. Unfortunately, this privilege has widely been criticised because it considered being the leading cause of the mass shootings all over the U.S.

Recently, an attack in Las Vegas golloped 58 lives and left more than 500 people traumatised.  Once again, this triggered anti-gun supporters to demand the complete extermination of the right to own a gun. However,  pro-gun supporters aren't willing to compromise and suggest that no matter how many restrictions are put in place, the Government won't be able to stop any quietly planned attacks. Moreover, they believe that "Guns don't kill people; people kill people" which implies that Guns shouldn't be held accountable for the heinous intentions of a particular group or person.

Also, Mr Trump himself has publicly supported the pro-gun campaign by saying, "I will never, ever infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms."

Australia has been successful in saving around 200 lives per year since the gun reforms made in 1996. The reforms were backed by all political parties. Similarly, Japan embraced pacifism after WW2 which helped them eradicate Gun Violence and imposed very strict gun laws that made it nearly impossible to have a gun in Japan. I do not advise that U.S should duplicate the exact same approach to guns as the above two examples but they definitely need to tweak the constitution so that, criminals and mentally unstable people don't get their hands on guns.
