Firstly, let’s talk about her statement for just one second. Jemele called Trump a White Supremacist. Conservatives say this is “slandering the President”; but is it really slander if it is a proven truth? Donald Trump had one of the largest discrimination lawsuits in NYC, Donald Trump called for a manhunt during the Central Park 5 Case; he has apologized for neither. Donald Trump accepted endorsements from the KKK. The KKK took to twitter to “remind him” he serves them after Charlotsville. A white supremacist ran into a crowd of protesters, killing a young woman, Trump blamed “all sides”. And then, TODAY, the White House refused to sign a statement condemning White Supremacy. Sound like white supremacy to me.

          Secondly, I want to talk about hypocrisy for a second. The same people who rant about “Black Lives Matter supporting Black on Black Crime because they don’t condemn it” (Even though they do), swear the White House not condemning white supremacy is “not supporting white supremacy”.  These same people said Obama not condemning Muslims was supporting ISIS. You mean to tell me not condemning Muslims is supporting ISIS but not condemning white supremacy is NOT supporting white supremacists? Why one and not the other?  The same people who called Obama a Muslim Brother, a monkey,  and ran with birtherism lies are now all “YOU CAN’T SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT THE PRESIDENT!” The same people that called Obama and his presidency racist (Donald Trump being one of them) are now against calling a president racist. The same people ranting about “Free Speech” when alt-righters can’t speak at Universities want Jemele fired. Milo not getting to speak is “Suppressing Free Speech”, Jemele getting fired over tweets is “right”. The same people crying over college kids wanting “safe spaces” want ESPN to create a “safe space” for their feelings on twitter. The same people yelling “SLIPPERY SLOPE” about statues of traitors are cool with the White House trying to restrict free speech. The same people that are GUNG HO about the right to freely speak, feel the WHITE HOUSE should be able to control what private citizens who work for private entities say. Who is really a snowflake here?

            Thirdly, and on a lighter but still tragic note, I want to take a moment of silence for poor Sage Steele. Because, honestly, she is the real victim here. If I was her I would be LIVID right now. She has spent forever pandering to conservatives on ESPN. She has fought so hard to be the “black friend” they all reference when they say they are not racist. And for what? All the conservatives are pretending they’ve never even heard of her. I’ve seen so many “ESPN doesn’t have conservative commentators” tweets I honestly feel bad for her. You would think conservatives would LOVE a black conservative on the network and push her all day long. But, this is another lesson. This group doesn’t really see black people. They see black people when they can use them to say “LOOK! A BLACK AGREES WITH ME!”. Once that is over, that person no longer exists. Their continued disregard for Sage’s existence proves that. When they say “There are no conservative commentators” what they mean is “There are no white conservative commentators”. Sage does not exist to them. I wonder why.

            Lastly, I want to remind everyone: The White House canNOT infringe on Freedom of Speech. The government calling for people to lose their jobs for criticizing them is not American, it is not patriotic, it is dangerous. This is the true danger to freedom. Not Muslims, not DACA recipients, not statues. I find it interesting that the same government charged with colluding with Russia, is being Russia like in their attempt to crush free speech. This is not communist China or Russia, Jemele has the right to criticize Trump truthfully the same way you had the right to lie about Obama’s birth certificate  for years. And just like you tell us to “Go back to Africa” if we don’t like it; you can find your way to China or Russia if you don’t like it.

PS: Stop comparing Hill to Schilling. Schilling was warned several times before he was canned. This is Hill’s first offense. Apples do not, in fact, compare to pots and pans.
