Spacesuit are the thing which protects our fellow Astronauts from the deadly conditions of the space. Space always fascinates me and always makes me think that how vast Universe is. I also wished to own my very own spacesuit. But after reading the fact, that it cost US $12 Millions, I dropped my plans of owning a spacesuit.

  So an idea stuck on my mind and I decided to take this fact as my new case and started to investigate on this fact. On researching deeply about to this matter, I came to Quora question and which somebody asked the real cost of Spacesuit. On this particular question, NASA's Engineer Jonathan Miller replied that the cost of producing the suit from scratch means from developing, designing and producing, it will cost around US $300 to $500 Million Dollars. And to produce the copies of the same suit cost something around $10 Million to $15 Million Dollars. By this time, I definitely gave up on the idea of owning my own Spacesuit.

  Jonathan Miller is official NASA's Employee and is working as an Engineer since 28 years. But to be on the safer side, I decided not to follow his claims and come to any conclusion. I started my research again. After searching for the while, I came to NASA's official website which contain this following PDF. After reading this PDF, I came to know that every Spacesuit costs different from one another as all parts of Spacesuits are not made by ILC (an American Special Engineering Development and Manufacturing Company).

  So by reading this PDF and answer offered by Mr. Miller, we couldn't state that every Spacesuit cost around $12 Million Dollars. Some might cost lower and some might cost higher than $12 Million Dollars. So one cannot simply claim it to be 100% correct information. So I stamp it as False. CASE CLOSED.
