The much awaited all-new Honda Amaze has been unveiled by Honda Cars India at the recent concluded 2018 Auto Expo. The Honda pavilion at the Auto Expo has drawn huge crowds where the company has showcased their three new cars; the much talked all-new Honda Amaze and the other two, Honda Civic and CR-V. These new cars are slated to be launched later this year. Honda was expected to bring the all-new Amaze with the lots of new styling and attractive changes after the earlier model faced slump in the sales figures in comparison to its rival Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The new car was also expected to be more powerful and roomier than the previous model. Let’s see here whether these expectations have come true and what are other features that come loaded with the new Amaze offers now.

All-New Honda Amaze – Specifications & Features

The second generation all-new Honda Amaze gives a totally different look from the current Amaze. It retains only the car engine and the gear box combination from the olden version. Additionally, the new amaze is also expected to be offered with diesel-CVT variant.

The new model is being launched after a period of five years of the first one in India. The new Amaze built on an all-new platform designed with a focus on driving dynamics. The new platform is the most significant improvement over the previous ‘Brio’ based platform to make the driving dynamics more efficient and comfortable.

The new car comes with a brand new dashboard with latest gadgetries like touch screen infotainment system, USB port, navigation system, power folding as well as power adjustable rear view mirrors, steering mounted control, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera etc.

The new sedan boasts for an all new and a bolder design, more efficient powertrains and roomier interior.  In spite of being a compact sedan, the all-new amaze offers ample and more space inside the cabin compared to the earlier model. True to the Honda brand, the all-new amaze has been designed giving high priority to the passenger safety. The strength of the cars comes from the reinforced body and structure. It is also expected to come with the airbags and ABS as well.

The launch of the new amaze is expected by this yearend though the exact date is not yet revealed by the company.

The all-new Amaze will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Ford Aspire, Ford Figo, Hyundai Xcent and Volkswagen Ameo.

The price of the all-new Honda amaze is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 6 lakh.
