Hello,
So this blogging thing...it's amazing, fun, and inspiring. It has brought me to many things. I've learned so much and continue to do so. It makes me so happy inside to write. I gain so much happiness, excitement and even a sense of peace through writing. The fact that I can even bring some sort of inspiration, insight or advice to someone makes my heart sing. When I am giving, I am also receiving so much more.
But...I've hit a wall. A wall I can't seem to make it over, because... money. One can't get too far without money. This is a sad and exhausting fact for me. You can only do so many things for Free...and when it's free, bloggers have to work 2x harder to get to their audience. You can have the best content in the whole blogosphere and it wouldn't matter if no one was seeing it.
I have been working at it day in and day out. It's rough y'all. I am a full time homeschool Mom on top of it. I'm exhausted...
So you know what I decided to do? I started a Homeschool Blogging Fund! I thought about this for awhile. I have been very hesitant to do it. I don't want a hand out. I don't want anyone to think, "Oh, she just expects everyone to pay for her hobby?" Gosh, it feels like a job you guys. As much as I love it, it is hard work.
A few of my close friends helped me decide to go for it. I trust their judgment and believe they will always shoot it to me straight.
Basically, this fund (or campaign) is for helping me bring you the best content I can possibly create. I can do sooo much more with my own domain and host site. I would also like to put some of it towards my kids homeschool if at all possible. Homeschoolers don't get tax breaks. I say all of this honestly and humbly.
