Eyes twitching

Fingers jerking

Mouth mumbling

Legs quivering.

I was almost buried in my skin.

Everything went from vague to dark all of a sudden.

I could hear whispers around.

“who is it?” I cried out loud.

I got no response but a repetition of my cry.

But I kept moving to find a way out.

Suddenly, I discovered something that felt like a door knob

I turned it open and found myself in a room with a radiant light.

Then I looked back, only to discover how far I have Walked, it was a massive walk indeed.

I walked out of the dark into the limelight.

My fear couldn’t consume me because I Devoured it.
