In our times, if you look at almost any product’s manufacturing place and you see something different than an Asian company you may be very surprised and you should be. The Asian manufacturing market is huge and renewable technologies have not been overseen. The proof can be seen in the top-10 list of the Module Suppliers in 2016:
- JinkoSolar – China
- Trina Solar – China
- Canadian Solar – Canada
- Hanwha Q-Cells – South Korea
- JA Solar – China
- GCL – USA
- First Solar – USA
- Yingli Green – China
- Talesun – Germany
- Risen – China
As you can see, out of the top-10 module suppliers in the world, six of them are from Asia, out of which, five are from China. The top is completed by three North American companies and only one company from Europe.
