1. Pestilence (Four Horsemen #1)

They came to earth—Pestilence, War, Famine, Death—four horsemen riding their screaming steeds, racing to the corners of the world. Four horsemen with the power to destroy all of humanity. They came to earth, and they came to end us all.

When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed.

Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed.

Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her … and hers towards him.

And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

Thoughts

Who is currently salivating over this Book because of the blurb? Me.
Who is currently fangirling over this book because of the book cover?  Me.

I am so excited to read "Pestilence" I squeal in glee every time I see this book. I have never read any of the author's works before, but for some reason this book feels like it's going to live up to the hype – and trust me, this book has garnered quite some hype.

There isn't an official release date from the author yet, but this book is said to be published around February or March of 2018. So don't forget to save the month ladies and gentlemen, because this book is going to be epic

2.  Special Forces – Soldiers (Special Forces #1)

Special Forces is the story of a Scottish SAS soldier and a Soviet spetsnaz soldier. Two enemies who meet in the line of duty during the early days of the Soviet Union's last war in Afghanistan. Behind enemy lines respect and finally love grow ... but that's only the official version. This epic spans across over twenty-five years of their lives. It's harsh and violent, but life is cruel and they just do what they need to survive.

Special Forces - Soldiers is the first cycle of the Special Forces epic, which consists of three cycles and is about a million words. The second cycle is Mercenaries and the third one is Veterans.

Thoughts

Do not let the book cover or the blurb fool you because this is one of the best book I have ever read in my whole entire life.

Lately, I have been really into M/M romance genre, and somehow stumbled upon this book because everyone has been talking about it. Despite the not-quite-so-appealing cover and simple blurb, I decided to plunge into it and I am so glad I did because this book is just awesome stacked on top of awesome.

If you are looking to read some good M/M romance book, definitely check this one out. I promise you, this book is worth every minute of your time.

3. Brooklynaire

A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen.

You'd think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You'd be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don't know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It's what friends do. But what friends don't do is rip off each others' clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she's avoiding me. She says we're too different, and it can never happen again. So why can't we keep our hands off each other?

Thoughts

I cannot lie, the defined abs and sexy man as the cover book lured me in. Count me guilty. But hey, it did managed to grab my attention and ended up with me checking the book – and the guy – out. From the blurb alone, it sounds like it is going to be a very interesting and sexy read. And you know me and my constant need for some steamy, angsty read every now and then. And this book hold the promise of all that and more.

"Brooklynaire" is expected to publish on February 12th, 2018. And from the reviews that I have read about this book, it will definitely be a wild ride with a promise of HEA. So if you are looking for books along this line, make sure to not miss out "Brooklynaire".

The author also just published a part of the deleted scene from the book. You can check it out : here

4. Abducted

A beautiful woman is locked in my bunker.

She stirs in me something I thought I'd long ago snuffed out: desire.

I murdered her abductor, but I'm no hero. I'm the monster they call the Angel of Death, yet she makes me feel like a man again. My hidden little secret in the cellar is a prize I won't be throwing away.

Her luscious lips and sweet curves promise that hiding from the mafia just got a lot more exciting.

I'm not going anywhere. And neither is she.

Thoughts

I have had my eyes on this book for god knows how long. I have been waiting and wanting, hiding in the corner while keeping my eyes on the dates of publication. And now this book is officially published, I can't wait to devour it in one seating.

Alexis Abbott has quickly become one of my favorite author after reading her Hitman series. And when I found out that she is going to publish "Abducted", you already know I'll be clicking the order button faster than before anyone can blink.

I hope this book lives up the the expectation as I have a really high expectation for this book. The blurb seems very promising and immediately lured me into wanting to read this book, not to mention that I am always down for a good dark reads.
