Modi celebrated his birthday in Varanasi

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 68 yesterday and he spent his Birthday in Varanasi with schoolchildren, talking to them, watching film based on his life. Have a look at the insights.

PM Modi was scheduled to be in Varanasi for two days, 17th and 18th of September 2018 – celebrating his 68th birthday on 17th and other plans and inaugurations on 18th. According to one of the senior officials, “On his 68th birthday, PM Modi watched a 32-minute film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ with the schoolchildren. He is also inaugurated several development projects worth Rs 550 crores for the development of the city.” Besides these, Modi offered prayers at the famous Kashi Vishwanath Mandir of Varanasi and also addressed at a public gathering.

On his visit to Varanasi, a special cleanliness drive was launched, and health campus was organised for serving people with health and making the city a cleaner city. Birthday wishes poured for from everyone across the nation, wishing Modi via Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms. President Ram Nath Kovind took it to Twitter for wishes, Home Minister Rajnath Singh also wished him a happy birthday.
