Motorola has recently launched the 6GB variant of the Moto X4. The device is going to be sold as a Flipkart Exclusive in India at a price of INR 24,999.
The device boasts of good specifications and, truth be told, the price point the device is being offered is something which is worth noticing.
There are devices way more powerful which are available for almost half the price of the Moto X4 6GB. That being said, is the Moto X4 6GB a smartphone worth investing on? It’s time we found out.
Moto X4 6GB: Full Specifications
The device features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 2TB. On the display front, we get a 5.2-inch Full HD display. One thing which is worth keeping in mind before purchasing the Moto X4 is the fact that it lacks the in-trend 18:9 aspect ratio which is kind of a bummer considering the fact that companies like Huawei have managed to pull it off at a price point more than half of what the Moto X4 is being offered at.
On the camera front, the Moto X4 packs a 12MP + 8MP Dual Rear Camera Setup and a 16MP shooter for taking selfies. Both the cameras take decent pictures and there is nothing much to complain about. That said, there is nothing much to brag about the cameras either. Low light photography is not a breeze with this smartphone.
There is a 3,000 mAh battery provided which supports Quick Charge 3.0. Luckily, battery life is something the Moto X4 can proudly boast of. The device would easily last you a day and a half with a single charge.
On the software front, the Moto X4 6GB variant, just like the lower RAM variants, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset which is nothing more than a mid-range powerhouse. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box which is nothing new when it comes to Motorola devices.
Talking about the looks of the device, we get the traditional Motorola form factor with the Moto X4 as well. Again, nothing much in this sector as well. The fingerprint scanner is embedded at the front which couples as the home key. The device is available in two color options: Sterling Blue and Super Black.

The Moto X4 is a decent smartphone. The price, however, puts the device into a dangerous situation. There is a long list of Android smartphones which offer similar specifications and a way better display. The company could have done way better in terms of the design. Or better, they could have introduced the device at a much lesser price range.
