We caught up with Priyanka Chopra in Mumbai recently, before she went to the Met Gala and got everyone talking with her bold fashion outing. The actress has a found a new home in the US and was in Mumbai just for a few days. Priyanka was to promote her upcoming film with Dwayne Johnson, Baywatch. Priyanka talked about success, Hollywood and even The Rock, but it was her remark about Deepika Padukone’s identity crisis in the west that bowled us over. Ever so humble Priyanka admitted that she had watched videos of paparazzi confusing Deepika for her. In her inimitable style she quipped, “That’s not fair and it’s not right.” When we quizzed the actress about Deepika being mistaken for her by the western media, she said, “I did see that and you know that’s just ignorance and it’s not right. I guess I’m the most Popular Brown Face that everyone has known. Every brown girl does not look the same. Don’t mistake it. Let’s try and tell us apart. That was not right and it’s not fair she’s a massive star from India.”
