Seek and You Shall Find

I am an ardent Harry Potter fan. It’s not only because of the story. It’s the things that I learned from the whole book series.

Throughout the Harry Potter series Dumbledore has maintained that “help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.”

Now if I come to think of it, it’s so true. One will always find help if one asks. I totally believe in this mantra. If required seek help but don’t completely rely on it. Keep doing your best and help and guidance will automatically find its way unto you, when you ask for it.

I believe in God and have faith. So I believe that somewhere in the dark tunnel I will always find light; if I keep moving forward despite all odds. Though I am a believer; I don’t say atheism is wrong. Belief is hugely made up from personal experiences.

In the toughest of times I have received help and guidance in some form or the other. I have suffered as well because earlier I never used to ask for help.

Recently one such incident happened. I was somewhat lost and confused regarding a few things. Amidst the chaos, I got a message from one of my college mates. It took just a chat and a call to put things into perspective. We were never good friends and rarely spoke to each other during the college tenure. It was as if there were some telepathic signals and we somehow connected. Of course it was a very unexpected encounter. Who imagines that help will come this way. But again it’s not about  divine interventions or such encounters. It’s about what you make of such opportunities.

I had to ASK for my friend’s help and guidance. I had to make full use of this opportunity. Had I refrained myself, it would still be stuck up. Asking for help is not bad. Many a time we shy away even when we are in desperate need of help. This way we make matters worse only for ourselves.

Seeking help does not make one weak.It just helps you achieve your goals more efficiently.

Arjun was a mighty warrior and the greatest archer of his time. But to win a battle like Mahabharat he needed Lord Krishna’s help. That did not make Arjun weak, but helped the Pandavs win the war.
