The world is moving around me but I’m standing still like nothing can move me. I’m settled. I can only understand the person I am and who I want to be and so I withdraw from the Rest of the world anytime I need to. Just like Pac said it, I’m looking at the world through my rear view. That’s what that line meant to me. I can join the rest of the herd but then I would be lost in the crowd. Fela would call it being a “Zombie”. Life is tough and can get really messy but in all I have experienced I found meaning through all of it. I was stronger, a lot wiser and better for it. I’ve seen chaos, I’ve seen ruin but I’ve also seen that there is always peace afterwards. You just need to stick with it long enough to see it happen.
