Today, June 8, little David Adewale Oni is five years old! Congratulations!
Today, the little fella with a hole in the Heart is largely unaware of the battle raging to save his life… he cannot tell numerous kindhearted Nigerian people who have donated severally into his dedicated UBA account (David Adewale Oni; UBA – Account/N: 2095550772 -Ogba, Lagos). On his behalf, we say thank you!!
Little David is equally unaware of the involvement of the Down Syndrome Nigeria (DSN), led by Mrs. Rose Mordi (and assisted by Mr. Muyiwa Majekodunmi) in the efforts to procure quality Heart Surgery for him either in Nigeria or abroad.
On behalf of David, his parents and everyone who has contributed a single naira into this effort… May the good Lord bless and replenish you…. Amen!
Since the entry of DSN, David has done series of critical and expensive tests (sponsored by the DSN whose interventions to help children with congenital heart ailments have been well documented – even children without DS!)
Currently, David is being prepped to travel out as soon as we are able to raise more funds…and DSN is also ready to contribute more…!
We thank the officers and men of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Ikoyi, Lagos office, for the lightening speed in processing passport documents for the Oni’s… Thank you all!
