Singer Papon, who is currently one of the main judges on the season 2 of Voice India Kids has been booked for forcibly trying to kiss one of the female contestants of the reality show. A Supreme Court Lawyer has filed a complaint against him with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (POSCO).

Papon posted a video of himself playing Holi with the contestants of Voice India Kids. He is further seen applying gulal to one of the female contestants and then he kisses her, allegedly by force.
Supreme Court Lawyer said: “I am shocked to see the behaviour of the said singer Angarag Papon Mahanta towards a minor girl where he is seen to be applying colors on a minor girl and inappropriately kissing the said girl.”
“On seeing the video, I am seriously concerned regarding the safety and security of minor girl participating in reality shows across India.”
Meanwhile, Papon’s lawyer came out in his defense and told Guwahati Plus that he didn’t mean any harm to the child,and was not wrong.
