A Glitch in the Plan

A big part of people not achieving their dreams, is the thought of how long it will take to reach them.
I think what happens, is we start Comparing our journey to someone else's, and this can either motivate us or it can make us feel like crap.
Just the other day I was Upset about something in my life not gong according to "my plan". Obviously things will not work out exactly how you think they will in your head, I know this, but still decided to be upset. I asked myself why I was so upset, and the truth was that I was embarrassed. I let my ego get in the way, and was thinking that now I have to tell my friends, and people, that some of my life plans have changed a bit, and maybe I don't have "it all together". Once I stopped comparing my journey to anyone else's, I realized my situation is NO BIG DEAL.
Even though there may be a Glitch in your plans, doesn't mean you can't achieve the same goal; now you just have a different path to getting there. It's an amazing feeling once you realize no one else cares about what you're doing in life except you, so there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Just because there is a change in the plans, and maybe it will take you longer to achieve your goal, does not mean you can give up or change the goal. We are all on our individual journeys, instead of spending time thinking about someone else's, we should be learning to love our own
