In 1992, Rahmat Ullah Malik has developed and coined a new legal system of Law Record and Retrieval System and implemented this new Legal System on Pakistan’s Tax Law which was not in practice at that time around the globe in order to Computerized the Tax Laws of Pakistan. Two of the key features of this system is Date-wise record of Laws, Rules and SROs which is a unique feature with complete period-wise study, search, interpretation and implementation of Statues Part of Pakistan’s Law and other one is the through study of Law in which whole law in interlinked with each other like Statute part is linked with Words Defined in Definition Section of the Law, Referred sections, Referred Schedules, Corresponding sections, Corresponding Schedules, Rules related to Law, Circulars, Circular letters, Notifications/SROs, Supreme Court, High Courts, Appellate Tribunal and Federal Tax Ombudsman Cases.
It also includes Complete Pakistan’s Tax Law (Income Tax and Sales Tax) Library of Acts/Ordinances, Rules, Circulars, Circular Letters, General Orders, Original and Amending Notifications(SROs) and also includes heads notes and complete Judgments of Supreme Court, High Courts, Appellate Tribunal and FTO.
This system has its own Search Engine which provides a legal sense. Since its 16bit MS DOS version it had saw many eras. Now in 2015 latest and improved version of that system is available online at this Pakistan’s Law Library Portal.
