O njegovoj ljubavi prema Srbiji svedoči i natpis na njegovoj fb stranici: ,,Not too long ago, I went to Serbia and I fell in love. WIth the vibe, the culture, the people, the food, the history – and of course the music. Digging into the old classics and listening to Toma Zdravkovic, Tozovac, Saban Saulic and many others resonated with my soul. I decided to share my appreciation of this great music in my own unique way. It is my love letter to a place that has been so kind to me, has showed me so much warmth and love. This is my way of saying, “I love you” back. ”

Sredinom juna predstavlja svoju prvu pesmu na srpskom jeziku (Srpkinja) , koja predstavlja balkansku verziju hit pesme Cheerleader. 

Na naše pitanje koja je Srpkinja uspela da mu ukrade srce, sa osmehom je odgovorio:

,,I first came to Serbia in 2010, and since that time I can say that I have definitely had my heart stolen! There are so many lovely Serbian ladies out there, that I wanted to write a song that celebrates how great they are. ”
