The BFG

The BFG
Roald Dahl

Imagine waking up in the dead of the night to see a 25 foot giant roaming the streets with a suitcase and a kind of trumpet. He has giant ears that don't really fit his head and he is blowing the trumpet into windows of people.

Now imagine being pulled out of your bedroom window inside a bag made out of your own blanket! That's what Sophie, an 8-year-old girl, experiences one night.

Now you're probably wondering what the rest of the story is like! I won't give away much of the plot because this blog post will be too long to read if I do so... you'd probably fall asleep if I gave you all of the main plot!

So, Here is the Simplified Main Plot:
Sophie arrives at the land of the Giants with 9 other man-eating giants. She is put on the BFG's table and then has to eat a tiny piece of disgusting snozzcumber and frobscottle drink ... After a series of the giant raids around the world, Sophie decides to do something about. After creating a nightmare for the queen, the queen decides to capture the bad giants. Then the plan goes as is and the 9 bad giants are captured and put in a hole 500 feet deep. What happened to Sophie and the BFG? Well, they got great new homes that suited them and tons of honor.

I find this book full of confusing words that I couldn't properly understand until hours later, but nevertheless this book should be read by everybody everywhere.
