When it comes to relationships, a lot  of things are left unexpressed because doing so will only make things feel forced and not real. However, in order to keep things sweet and exciting between you and your girl, you must learn these simple things she Secretly wants you to do but will never tell you.

1. She wants you to show her off

Not all the time and probably not the way you think. You can just upload a photo of her doing something Random and write something like: ” Look at her looking so perfect with them PJs on,” and I swear you’ll have her swooning for a week and whenever she visits your page.

2. Flowers

Yeah, yeah. We know. Waste of money ’cause  they just wither and die.  But buying her flowers once in a while is a really sweet gesture no girl can dislike. Specially if it’s random or for no obvious reasons like anniversaries, ‘cos quite frankly that seems to be the only times these days when ladies receive some pretty blooms from their man, not that we’re complaining though. All we’re saying is, it’s nice to get a bouquet just because you think we deserve one, nothing else. Makes us think we’re just that special. Aahh, old school romance.

3. She wants you to touch her

Before you get excited, it’s not what you think. We’re not talking about anything sexual here. You know, just the usual holding hands and random thumb grazes, or finger trails along her arm while watching a movie, maybe even some playful kisses, and the romantic gesture of trailing your fingers very lightly along the features of her face as if she’s a delicate, fine piece of art that only you can admire this up-close.

4. The 3 magic words

We know it’s overused but hearing them from the love of your life, specially when you least expect  it is always a nice thing. You two can be strolling at the mall, cooking at home, or doing the laundry, but a random “I love you” whispered in her ear can make all the difference. So much loveeee.

5. Dress up

I guess  this is something all girls want their boyfriends to do but are either too shy to bring it up or don’t wanna seem too meddly about your fashion sense. I bet she’s favorited a few “OOTD ideas for Men” on Twitter in the hopes of you seeing it and getting inspired to dress better. So maybe you can do some scrubbing and put on a crisp polo, jeans and loafers the next time you two go out. Look good, feel good, man.

6. Kiss her in front of OTHER girls

This one’s pretty self-explanatory. It’s like a total “back  off” sign to all the girls who’s been ogling you. And it’s totally sweet too.

7. Think of a cute nickname

Something that isn’t babe, perhaps? Something you can call her when you want to be extra sweet. Something you can get from all the inside jokes you shared maybe?

8. Tell her you want her… RANDOMLY

Yes it needs the capitals for emphasis. It can be a very innocent thing you both are doing like playing a board game, sipping coffee, shopping for groceries, or standing in the train, but that random “I want you” quietly whispered in her ear is a surefire way to let her know you find her attractive and just can’t  keep it in. This can get her in the mood for some loving-loving too, you know. So it’s a win-win.

9. Ask her how she’s feeling

Not what’s wrong and absolutely not with that annoyed expression on your face. Because you see, sometimes, if not most, we also don’t know what’s wrong. All we know is that we’re so unreasonably annoyed and pointing that out will only make things worse. So instead, point it out discreetly, let us realize on our own how unreasonably bitchy we’re acting and feel bad about it.

10. The adorable wow face you make when she dresses up

And after you take it off

We like seeing that excited expression of yours after we’ve put so much effort getting dolled up  and every time we strip it all off. React like it’s always the first time you saw her naked.

11. Sweet short messages at random times of the day

We don’t need paragraphs, we know you’re busy. Short, thoughtful and sweet 1-liners will do. So go on, send that random “thinking of you” or “need your kisses rn”  text at 2pm and she’ll surely be smiling ear to ear ’till she gets home to you.

12. Keep her updated

No girl wants to seem like the overly-attached, obsessed girlfriend, so even if she’s dying to know what you’re up to with your guy friends on a Friday night, she probably won’t ask. She’ll give you the time you deserve to spend with your friends but she’ll most likely be checking her phone and keeping it close by anticipating your text. So spare her from this agony and just update her. A simple “hey baby, with the boys alrdy. probs drink a bottle or two. be home at 10″ text message will put her at ease and save you from coming home to a sulking girlfriend.
