When a meteorite crash lands on Earth, bringing with it alien life, chaos ensues. It’s up to two professors (played by Duchovny and Moore) to stop the aliens from becoming too dangerous in this laugh-out-loud comedy. Released in 2001 to box office success the Film is now considered somewhat a cult film, with a large community of fans that still adore the film. One for the Romantics: A Lot Like Love

A “rom-com” spanning seven years of the lives of two young, very different people. Ashton Kutcher plays the future-planning, responsible Oliver, while Amanda Peet plays the bad girl, spontaneous Emily. If you are in need of a good laugh or a good romance story then look no further. Based on the classic odd-couple stories, this one has the unique twist of being set over seven years and watching their relationship go from one-off encounter to madly in love.

Some for the Family: The Spy Next Door/Addams Family

Yamgo can also be relied on to entertain the whole family, featuring a number of child-friendly and family-orientated movies. The Spy Next Door is a great film for the whole family to enjoy, combining humor, action and mischief which any child will enjoy. The Addams Family is a classic and reliable go-to family movie, centered around a wealthy, eccentric family who are a target for some con-artists. What more can you want from a film than a wandering hand, a Frankenstein/zombie-resembling Butler and a creature covered completely in hair!

One for the Laughs: Dogma

There are plenty of laughs to be had on Yamgo, with plenty of them coming from our Yamgo Movie channel. One of the films that will leave you laughing is Dogma, the 1999 film from Kevin Smith. The film, about an impending apocalypse due to the plans of two fallen angels (played by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon). In tune with Kevin Smith’s other films, the film is a bit different, but none the less a hilarious watch for any comedy fans, and the cast is superb: joining Affleck and Damon are Alan Rickman, Chris Rock, Jason Lee, Salma Hayek and Jason Mewes.

One for the Horror Fanatics: The Hills Have Eyes

Yamgo’s Horror Movies channel is dedicated to people who love the adrenaline of being terrified by a scary movie. With non-stop horror movies, this channel is perfect for people who can’t get enough of supernatural thrillers or gory horror films. The Hills Have Eyes is definitely one not to miss if you’re into that sort of thing. The plot follows an American family who embark on a roadtrip. They end up far away from civilisation and being stalked be a group of psychotic desert people.

If you fancy a more classic horror movie then watch ‘The Omen‘. The Omen is a classic horror-thriller from 20th Century Fox and became one of the highest grossing films the year it was released in 1976. The creepy movie centers around a young adopted boy who is surrounded by a number of mysterious and ominous deaths. It soon transpires he is in fact the anti-christ. ‘The Omen’ reached number 16 on The 100 Scariest Movie Moments list, so it’s definitely one to add to your list if you like horrors.

One for Bollywood Lovers: 16 December
