2016 Golden Globes Fashion & Beauty Brawl!

Let's get ready to rumble....
This years golden globes was a subtle "wowing" of fashion and beauty by almost everyone. There truly aren't many (if any) losers from the fun event of stars but there definitely were a few who shined above the rest, beating out their fellow thespians in blues, cutouts, capes and boobs!?

Battle of the Boobs- Jaimie Alexander in her Emerald green printed plunging neckline gown by Genny fit perfectly for her taped down boobies. The dress looked super comfortable and her edgy off the face hair was just the right fit.

Jenna Dewan Tatun wore a similar blue and silver plunging neckline gown from one of Jennifer Lopezs' favorite designers, Zuhair Murad.

There is one thing for sure, our WINNER couldn't possibly tape down her girls.
The bump it wearing Katy Perry donned a rose colored Prada gown  with just enough fabric to hold her "globes" in. The vintage cat eye and  bouffant wig could have been replaced with a more mature, romantic look, but hey its Katy.

Kirsten Dunst was definitely one cup away from taking Katy's title in her sexy velvet, black Valentino gown. She definitely scored higher with her hair chose though.

Great Capers
Designer Giambattista Valli  had to have designed this right off the 2015 runway look specifically for my WINNER JLo . The mustard colored saffron layered gown hugged every jenny from the block curve, Jennifer Lopez dripped in diamonds from neck, bag to toe, literally, check out her clutch glowing on her sexy exposed thigh and her 200 CARATS of Harry Winston Diamonds! Her brick red lip, golden mustard eye, wispy lashes were slayed by no other than the talented Mary Phillips. Her Bordeaux nails accompanied the mustard like a gem. Taraji P. Henson was white hott in her sleeveless Stella McCartney gown that had a train/cape moment Taraji couldn't keep her hands or peoples feet off of. Though not my winner in this battle, she still stunned and served fashion on the red carpet before winning her Golden Globe later that evening. Congrats Taraji!

Sexy Sleeves-Some didn't have capes or trains, or maybe they did, but another contender or the carpet were interesting sleeves. E News correspondent Giuliana Rancic looked awkwardly charming in a coral cutout Australian designer Alex Perry gown that flowed with 3/4 covered sleeves that ran to the floor. The winner of this battle sleeves down goes to the lovely, fit Mrs. Jada Pinkett Smith who just exuded glamour in her off the shoulders emerald Versace gown. She even pulled off a faux pas makeup move, matching her sheer green eye shadow and emerald Jimmy Choo shoes to her look. Get em Jada with those amazing arms!

Beauties in Blue-Jane The Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez wows in a glamorous blue off the shoulder Zac Posen gown. Julianne Moore glistens in her classy sequin & velvet Tom Ford gown, but seeing as thought the lovely red head wore a very similar hairstyle and fabric for the 2015 Golden Globes, she couldn't possibly win. Hands down my WINNER is the effortlessly classy Kate Winslet in her well fitted, stunning, shoulder baring Ralph Lauren. Her soft off side up-do and regal makeup captured the win.

Smoldering Eyes-
There wasn't a shortage of smokey eyes on the red carpet and I'm happy to say appropriately done! Stars Kirsten Dunst, Olivia Wilde and Jenna Dewan-Tatum showed off their light hued eyes with some serious smoke. Kirsten though is given us Grecian queen with her contour and icy grey eyes.

Shining in Sequin- It's GOLDEN GLOBES, of course there would be a lot of shining. But who shined the brightest? It wasn't all about the brightest because my tied WINNERS have to be two dark sequins dresses. Uzo Aduba in a black Talbot Runof and Julianne Moore in her Tom Ford blue sequin and velvet gown left their marks on the carpet. What was my girl Regina King thinking?!? Too much beautiful vintage Marcel waved hair with sequins AND a cape! Red Carpet Road kill...sorry girl....

Cute Cutouts & Mid drifts

Fashion & beauty winner of the night goes to no one other than the lady in red, Jennifer Lawrence. She stood out on the red carpet in a bold red gown with cut outs by Christian Dior. She had a major diamond moment, glistening in a 200+ choker necklace by Chopard that was made for this Dior dress. Her hair and makeup moment was everything, wearing a subtle red lip clean defined eyes and an effortless pinned, low bun parted on the side.

Big winner of the night Brie Larson shined in a flattering Gold cutout Calvin Klein gown. He makeup was simple showing off her golden tan but her hair could have has some sexy wave in the back to mesh with her fun, flashy look.

Kate Hudson took a risk with her light pink shimmering Michael Kors Collection three piece tube look. It was young and perhaps not a Golden Globes look, more so something for the Grammy's. Their is no denying that Ms. Hudson has a rocking body to wear it though.

Bob Beauties- Taraji may have lost in the cape battle but she rose to the top when it came to bobs. Her usually worn sleek bob was pumped up a bit with some shiny texture, parted on the side showing all the beautiful chocolate hues. Lets talk about Taraji perfect brows! WINNING!

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was wearing a very simplistically glamorous Atelier Versace spaghetti strap gown that was a beautiful gold like her golden long bob. With gorgeous eyes, lips and facial structure like hers, the center parted bob was perfect for the silhouette of the dress.

We've definitely seen Uzo look much younger with different bob situations, but this look was a little too mature fitting for the classy dress. The caramel, chestnut and dark brown colors were great. She should have either did more or less curl, the lingering in the middle with that texture didn't do it for me.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE GOLDEN GLOBE WINNERS!
