It's Fiber Arts Friday! This week my updates are on two WIPS that I'm showing bits of progress on plus and new yarn and GOAT BABIES!
First, I am still knitting my Adirondack Shawl and got another 30 rows completed. Rows are taking a lot longer to knit but the bright side is that I'm at the halfway point. Next, I got another 10 inches complete on my Baggins or Took Scarf. That lace is killing me. I really should tear back again because I got off by two stitches somewhere but then I fixed it then decided that it's going to be ok because I did it one other place before that I didn't realize. I truly am a Fool of a Took. Yeah, I'm moving forward. I promise pics next week. I've been sick and finally found out that I have Walking Pneumonia which explains why I've been sick so...photos didn't get taken last night or this morning.
I started spinning a braid of my 100% BFL dyed in the BiFrost colorway last Saturday. I have 6.2 ounces to spin and must decide if I want to chain ply the yarn or ply it with another fiber. Decisions, decisions.
Now...Goat Babies! Scarlet and Willow have both given birth to beautiful kids. We decided to go with a Walking Dead theme on names this year so Scarlet gave birth to Daryl Dixon, Rick Grimes and Little Ass Kicker aka Judith.
Willow gave birth to Maggie and Michonne yesterday late afternoon. Goat moms and kids are all doing
great!
