It's another Fiber Arts Friday! This week will be more updates on existing projects. I wish I had something
finished to show off but being sick the last two weeks sure tapped my energy. I've really been working on two different knitting projects that seem to be taking forever.First, my Baggins or Took scarf is finally starting to take shape. I have over 35 inches done. Of course, I want at least 70 so...it's half done? I only cast on back in October. If I didn't have to keep tearing back to correct my chart reading, I'd be a lot further along. I did get off by two stitches about an inch back but I'm not going to fix it. I have decided that it's going to stay.
My Adirondack Shawl is over half done too. I'm officially starting some decreases as my width continues. I am hoping to have it completed before YarnCon next week. I had better go into knitting overdrive if that is the case.
Finally, I am filling bobbins up like crazy and will need some serious plying time this weekend. Yes, the spinning keeps getting in the way of the knitting.
That's about all. Getting over my pneumonia, I haven't spent much time in the barn letting the family take care of our herd. Hoping to update my facebook and instagram with more goat kid photos this weekend.
