My dream is to make it in the Fashion Industry, not because of the fame, the fortune, or all that I will have at my fingertips (although it will be nice). I want to be able to influence the entire industry. I think it is remarkable to have the power to have something you were involved in seen by thousands. Power and control are some of the most amazing things. It takes a truly amazing person to be able to control the power they are given. If you are able to control it, chances are you don’t have enough. This means it’s time for a promotion. The industry, and any industry really, is made of status. As you advance in your career, you gain status. Right now, my internship is my first real embark on creating that status for myself in the fashion industry. So in time, every fetched latte machiato will be 100% worth it!

I’ve said it many times before, fashion is art. It is a way to express yourself. It is a way that people see you as, the way you may often be labeled or judged by confidence lacking “superiors”. When people think of you, they see an image in their mind. Usually, your wardrobe is involved.

I apologize if my writing is a bit more choppy than usual, but these are just things I had to get off my mind, from yet another long  but rewarding day at the office.
