Dierks Bentley hits his stride as his songwriting, singing, and concert performances strongly cruise along. Last week, "Somewhere on a Beach" (from his album Black) rose to Number 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart giving Bentley his 14th Number 1 single. Its also already been certified Gold. Black (his 8th studio album) rolls out next week on Friday, May 27th, and critics are generally praising it as one of his best albums.
His concert tour is in full swing and fans can share Memorial Day with Bentley in Panama City Beach as he hits Spinnaker Beach Club with his special Somewhere on a Beach Bash on May 30th.
My bet is that numerous awards for this album and its singles will surely be in Bentley's future. In the meantime, I recommend that you get Black and enjoy Bentley live if the opportunity arises.
