The sign offers clarity, insight and peace of mind.  A few things I wouldn’t mind having a bit more of these days.  Ahh, peace of mind.  I’d give a twenty spot for some of that.  Maybe it’s the weather, the realization that the carefree days of summer have passed, maybe it’s just that nagging self-doubt creeping on in, but I could use some insight right about now.  I am being suffocated by conformists.  It’s hard to breath, I’m choking on their negativity.  I now fully understand that there are people, sadly some quite close to me, who do not want me, or anyone I presume, to follow their dreams.  They find it Silly.  Useless.  Unsound.  It is not the proper, conventional, prudent way to conduct one’s life, one’s business.  They find a Life Full of money much more valuable than a life full of experiences.  A stable, reasonable job, perhaps one in a grocery store, or the nearest office, would suit me far better than these silly dreams of mine.  Of course, it would be so much easier to just give in.  Sit down.  Shut up.  Collect that weekly paycheck.  I just can’t take the easy way out.  It is taking every bit of clarity I can muster to keep on going.  Keep on writing.  Keep on creating.  Keep on dreaming.  No, I didn’t see it creeping up on me, but I’m gonna be looking behind my back, and running against the wind.
