Less than a month to go, and I've got a couple questions. Will I be competitive? What's going on with my financial aid? What classes should I register for, and where and when are they, exactly? Will I have time to do a couple of odd jobs after Christmas, but before School starts? How am I going to get to school, really? How hard will it be to park? (Because I can't take mass transit every day; it's just not realistic.) Will my classmates be cool, or pretentious fuckers? Can I get my driver's license and my replacement Social Security card between Christmas and the first day of school? When is the first day of school? What am I having for dinner? Why don't I iron more? What's going to happen when it's time to renew my plates AND get the car serviced AND I need new tires, all in the same month? Will I be able to work a part-time job and still succeed? What about girlfriend time? How am I going to see all the movies I need to see? How will I afford Christmas presents this year? How am I going to pay all my bills this month? Will the money I have from my job stretch to my first student loan check? And when is that check coming? What's that smell? When is the packet of information from school that tells me what's up going to arrive? When is the next big earthquake going to hit? Where will I be when it happens? What does a big earthquake feel like when you're in a car? Does anybody ever read this fucking blog? How do I get a cool work/study gig? Where am I going to live when the lease is up? What the fuck am I going to do when I graduate with an MFA and pile of student loan debt?

Christ, it's amazing I get ANY sleep at night.
