For my class "Special Studies in Material Culture Communication: Kimono Communication," I am wearing the "Owlish-Cat" obi every Tuesday in honor of Halloween, so that the students can see how accessorizing can change visual expression through kimono. When I should be planning classes, instead pick-upped summer kimono, sent cotton ones off to the dry cleaner's and donated three bags of western clothes to church bazaar.
