Metric – Dark Saturday

I saw Metric open for the Smashing Pumpkins last night and I thought they sounded great.  New tune is a solid rocker.  The band’s seventh full length will be out on September 21.

Lala Lala – Destroyer

Lala Lala just signed to Hardly Art and announced a new album, The Lamb (due September 28).  There’s some real sharp songwriting on display in the first single.  I’m into it.

The Beths – Great No One

The Beths are now responsible for two of my favorite songs released this year.  I can’t wait to check out their new album, Future Me Hates Me (due August 10).

Black Belt Eagle Scout – Soft Stud

Here’s one from Black Belt Eagle Scout, the latest addition to the Saddle Creek roster.  My oh my is it fantastic.  Mother Of My Children is due out September 14.

Advance Base – True Love Death Dream
