2 New Songs From A More Innocent Time
The Vanjas' "My Girls" and The Regrettes " Teenager In Love" sound like songs you may have heard in the 1950's. To be fair, "Teenager In Love" is a cover of Dion and the Belmonts' 1959 hit record, but here, L.A.'s The Regrettes put their own fuzzy filter on the Song and amp up the original's pace. 'Teenager' is the 3rd song on their 5 song EP Attention Seeker out now.
"My Girls" feels like a feel good song transported from the 50's or 60's, but that's the norm for the Swedish-retro-rock-quartet The Vanjas.
Their throwback music puts a smile on your face as makes you long for the world of a simpler time....and maybe a sock-hop.
