Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’Eau EDP and Vetyverio EDP

I recently purchased bottles of Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’Eau EDP and Vetyverio Edp, both blind buys. While I expected rose to be there in L’Ombre Dans L’Eau, it got me completely by surprise in Vetyverio. I don't get Vetyverio (EDP) - I don't get any vetiver in it, just "rose water" from start to late drydown, and I can't shake off that note. I'm desperately trying to discern other notes in it, but the rose note (specifically, rose water) is so overpowering that I just can't find anything else in this fragrance. Huge letdown - as I'm a vetiver freak and was expecting MOSTLY vetiver with some twists and turns, not rose water with nothing else.

I admit, I am sensitive to rose scents, I can detect even trace amounts of it in different fragrances. But while I understand the rose in L’Ombre Dans L’Eau EDP, I just can't get over it in Vetyverio EDP. Does anyone else have similar experience with Vetyverio EDP, where you don't get any vetiver whatsoever, and just stinking rose water from first spray to drydown 12+ hours later?
