In Megan Miranda’s The Safest Lies, readers were presented a captivating idea wrapped within an intriguing plot. Kelsey has lived her entire life cocooned in the safety of her mother’s paranoia. Schedules, routines, and walls have protected her for the past seventeen years. But when Kelsey’s mother disappears and her securities are stripped away, the truth won’t stay buried for long.

It was a fantastic concept and having read some of Miranda’s previous work, I was eager to delve into the pages of this novel.
