So the Volume starts with Koran freaking out in the Tree/Cave. He didn't know that Rasen was setting up to kill Hokage inside the Cave because it was much easier than leaving dead bodies on the street. Makes sense but he should have just sent them an invitation instead of pulling up on them and lolly gagging. We move on to the team coming to a two way split and then they split up into two teams. We have Recca, Domon and Yanagi on one team and Fuko, Tokiya and Kaoru on the other. Why is Yanagi here? She could have stayed behind with Joker and Kagero where she would be safe. Or bring Kagero with them. The woman has power. She can do something of help but nope, Recca's mother has to sit down. Dumbasses. Domon's crew comes across the chocolate induced Gaoh who's younger brother was Sekio, the man who got his head sliced from his body by Kurei.
The fight was ass. This again proves not only does the author not know how to write a fucking fight but also no character is really strong except Kurei. Kurei is the only person whose power we can gouge. Everyone else just has some hype behind them. Lets look at Hisui who fights Fuko when Tokiya and Kaoru are separated. The fight lasted like 3 minutes with each fighter dodging and getting a few hits in. Hisui tells her back story which was sick but then later when Fuko say she can tell Hisui is fighting to die, Hisui say "You don't know anything about me". What do you mean? You told her your life story. These characters are retarded. A lame ending happens and Hisui tries to kill herself but Fuko stops her. Stop trying to save these killers. Hisui said it herself, people like her should not be in regular society. What is the point of keeping her alive?
Kamui is a pedophile which sucks because he has a cool character design. But I'm not with this Pyscho trying to kill Kaoru. Hopefully Tokiya comes in and saves him because I don't Kaoru will do it by himself since Tokiya did jump in the water after him. This volume was lame. Fights were just so damn ass. The more I read this manga the more I want to stop but I've been invested in this series for years since I saw the anime as a wee lad. The artwork was amazing in this volume though. It was gorgeous at times. I rate this volume a 2/5. So yall giving Hisui shelter after leaving Uruha as well?
