LAHORE: Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed Friday announced to setup a protest camp at Chairing Crossing in Lahore against alleged rigging in PP-150 by-polls, Geo News reported.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Leader claimed that a number of presiding officers were changed without informing them, adding that the party would go to Election tribunal against the decision of returning officer.
He has also said that the Protest Camp would not be removed until the tribunal decides the matter.
On the occasion, Pti Punjab president Eijaz Chaudhry said that the candidate of his party for PP-150 lost the by-polls due to rigging.
