Golden State Warriors big man Demarcus Cousins made his season debut on Friday in the Warriors win against the Los Angeles Clippers. Cousins had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 15 minutes on the court before he fouled out. Cousins also received a round of applause from the Staples Center fans, a mix of Warriors and Clippers supporters, when he left the game to which he said was the fakest love he’s seen in his life.

After the game, Cousins talk to the media about how he felt to be back in the court after been injured for almost a year with a torn Achilles.

“Felt like a kid on Christmas. This was probably one of the best days of my life just being back on the floor playing the game that I love.”

Even Shaun Livingston was amazed when he saw the five former All-Stars getting ready before the game started.

“I’m not going to lie, I saw the five of them together and for a second, I was like: ‘Wow. That’s a fantasy squad.’ ”
