Here you will see Richard Engel not only NOT correct a mistaken assumption about Iraq War intelligence but ALSO put it in the video thus encouraging the lie to spread (Joe - of Morning Joe - does this all the time for Bush as Bush made his career... honor is easy to buy in media)....

"I lived through the lead up to the Iraq War and that was a case where there was alot of intelligence information that later turned out to be bunk. I actually think the intelligence community is much closer to where we are on this and the reason you're seeing these leaks cause people are trying to make the case that its too late to go to war."
Richard Engel COULD have pointed out that the Iraq War was actually based on lies pushed by the White House (i.e. they misled us into war) and these weren't exactly intelligence failures. In fact, he could have even mentioned that his own channel helped the GOP by covering up anti-war voices during the Iraq lies campaign AND don't talk about their lies during election campaigns so as not to harm their chances at the polls... but I guess the scientist wouldn't believed him and if he did he would think Engel's channel is corrupt and traitors. Instead, Engel says nothing and proves, instead, that he is a liar and coverupper as well.
