She’s goofy, pretty and all kinds of sexy. She is becoming a force to reckon with in the south Industry. Currently she is shooting for one of the most expensive films with one of the biggest stars – Rajinikanth. We are talking about Amy Jackson! Today is this gorgeous diva’s Birthday and guess what her plans are? Turns out, she’s having a working birthday. Currently she is in Chennai which means she will be bringing in her birthday on the sets of 2.0 along with the cast and crew. “Interestingly, this is her second birthday on the sets of 2.0. Last year, Rajinikanth had specially called for a cake for Amy and this year, Amy plans to take her team out for dinner after they wrap up the shoot for the day.” Amy is only too thrilled to be working on her birthday. According to her, it’s become a ritual of sorts.

Nothing about Amy Jackson’s character in 2.0 has been revealed yet. The movie is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 400 crore, easily making it one of the most expensive indian films. Rajinikanth will return as Dr Vaseegaran, Chitti and Akshay Kumar will play the lead antagonist in this film. AR Rahman will be composing the music for this sci-fi film while Anthony is the editor of this prestigious project. 2.0 teaser will be out on April 14, we are hoping to catch a glimpse of Amy Jackson’s character finally.

Phew! Winter feels like a long time ago after these sizzling pictures.

Amy Jackson started off her career seven years ago in the south industry after winning the 2009 Miss Teen world and 2010 Miss liverpool title. Her first movie was  Madrasapattinam opposite Arya earned her critical acclaim. Two years later, she debuted in Bollywood opposite Prateik Babbar in the Hindi remake of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa – Ek Deewana Tha. She debuted in Tollywood around the same time. Thereafter she has starred in many big budgets movies down south like Shankar’s I opposite Vikram, most recently Vijay’s Theri where her deglam role got her huge praise. And now, we are eagerly awaiting her upcoming opposite Thalaiva and Akshay Kumar – 2.0.
