Patient Injuries Cause Operating Table Recalls

The announcement for the Mizuho OSI Modular Table Systems recall occurred last month by the maker of the tables, but the FDA decided on November 9 that the threat was great enough to warrant a Class I medical device status. This recall of the operating table came on the hells of numerous complaints that have been reported that stated the tables were tilting or moving while in the middle of surgery.
