I have been having so much fun Painting Coastal themed paintings lately. Whenever I travel inland to visit family, I am always so excited to return to the sights and sounds of coastal Virginia. My son visited the other day and he has been away from our area for awhile. We stopped in to 17th Street Surf Shop for him to get a bathing suit and he became very nostalgic for the beach clothes he used to love.  There is a laid back feel here that you don't feel inland. So glad I can share some of what makes our area special. Hope you have a fabulous Friday and a relaxing summer weekend!
