Whatever your musical taste there is no escaping Top Christmas songs 2011 at this time of year and with the countdown to the festive season well underway, PRS for Music has got in the spirit of things by compiling a list of the nation’s top ten most memorable and played Christmas tunes.

Topping the most memorable chart is Louis Armstrong’s cover of White Christmas, despite it only receiving sixth most airtime, PRS for Music explained. While leading the most played list is Mariah Carey’s chart-topping All I Want for Christmas is You, which ranks number ten in terms of memorability.
