One note though , the instructions to replace the lamp it says to hold down the volume – and split button for at least 5 seconds, you have to hold it down longer around 20-30 seconds before it finally resets itself.

I understand there is a large market for these lamps coming from overseas in China, etc. Ebay is flooded with them too. It may also be rebuilt unit (new bulb put into a new or pre-existing housing). I did notice a few fingerprints and a minor scratch on the housing. There is a return postage label to send your old housing back to them for “recycling”.
