New Job..and twins :)

First off, let me start out by saying that I had the Twins on Jan. 16.  They are health, happy, and a handful.  In case I forgot to mention, they are boy/girl twins.  We went with the names Emma and John.

I am already planning (in my head) their first international trip.  At first, I was very worried about traveling with children, especially twins.  I am realizing that people do it everyday and I want my kids to grow up with that same thirst for travel.  I'm not sure what our first trip will be, but I'm leaning towards London (maybe a England tour). The reason I'm thinking London is because it will be my husband's first trip out of the US and I wanted a city that I had been to before and there would not be a major language barrier...plus I would love to see my friends in England again.  However, I would love to explore a new city with them.  So I am also considering a Seattle/Vancouver trip.  I want to do a lot of stateside vacations with them, right now I hoping to get to California this year, either San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Are there any child friendly cities people could recommend?

In other news, I will start a new job at a major bank as a fraud analyst.  I am excited about the new position and I'm looking forward to returning to work.  I love the twins but I need some adult conversation.  We found a small daycare (they only take 5 infants) for the twins that meets everything that we were looking for.  The larger ones scared me because of the number of kids in the room, most will take 11 infants.

The plus about the new job and the job searching process is that it gave me confidence.  After I was fired from my last position it really got me down.  I realized that it happens and sometimes we give it our best.  One thing I am proud of is that I was able to be true to myself at my last job.  I refuse to lower myself for the pride of a manager.

The family vacation is still happened.  We have settled for Key West with a June/July 2014 time frame.  I am debating hotel, resort,  or a rental vacation home.  The issue with anything involving a group payment is that some of my family members may not pay in time (or at all) leaving me to foot the bill.  The hotel/resort option will give them the chance to pay for their own way.  However, the vacation home would give us more time together.

Has anyone been to Key West/Florida Keys? Any recommendations on hotels, resorts, or vacation rentals?
