Was a really lovely walk this Morning with the dogs, the wind had dropped and the early morning sun gave off a promise of Spring. We took the Kilmarnock side of the countrypath (still affectionately known to us locals as the old railway line) and although there was barely a hint of green anywhere to be seen you can almost feel the stretching of roots. I was entertained watching ducks from the bridge, circling backwards and forwards on a corner of the Carmel Burn, they looked like they were playing a game of tag. I was also excited to see that the folk who have bought what we call the Railway Cottage have built what looks like a wooden stable block...HORSE'S.
