Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services.
We work to build a team of A Players for our clients. This results in more profitable companies that run with better purpose and alignment. We help companies take teams of B and C Players and coach them to become teams of A Players. To do this, we help our clients with two components – helping develop their people through executive coaching and adding more A Players through executive recruiting. Our firm has a national reputation for both top-level executive coaching as well as best in class recruiting and interviewing tools and processes. We leverage over 30 years’ experience as well as cutting edge technology including big data to provide the best results to our clients.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values.
Our mission is to put more profits and enjoyment in Business with the best team that money can buy. We strive to coach the team into becoming the best they can be. We have many values in our company that make us truly unique. A few of them include having an ownership mentality, accountability, having a great attitude, results, winning, integrity and resiliency.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
Business Education. I am looking forward to meeting business owners share our mission. I am excited to engage in thought leadership on innovative Business Topics that directly pertain to growing excellent, profitable businesses that provide abundance.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
I read at least two books a month that focus mostly on professional development. (Sometimes I will throw a spy thriller into the mix as a reward!) I actively look for articles on new business topics on a daily basis. As such, we have a very active social media and our firm has a national digital marketing presence. This allows us to engage real-time with CEO’s and other global thought leaders on key business topics and trends. I am always open to ideas and feedback on what is relevant to CEO’s and other business leaders. For example, throughout my presentations that I give during the year, I ask attendees for feedback on the event and listen to what topics they are looking to hear about. We then produce events and content to meet their educational needs.

What is your company culture like?
Fast and Fun! We have a 100% millennial workforce. I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and teaching them how successful businesses operate. Our whole team is dedicated to getting the best results for our clients. Results is the currency in our office. It is important that all of our employees want to win. We focus on “co-opetition” throughout the office to help each other succeed as a team.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
You must have an ownership mentality and treat clients as if they are your own. We believe in servant leadership and making yourself vulnerable. Everybody needs to be actively working on developmental opportunities to get even better. It is important to open yourself up to criticism and be receptive to coaching, both personally and professionally.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Here in Columbus we celebrate entrepreneurship. There is not a lot of excess government intervention and the labor laws are great, which allows businesses to thrive. As a result, we are a city with many opportunities for success. The people in Columbus are very genuine and friendly. Columbus is accessible and there are interesting cultural and recreational activities. We moved to Columbus 12 years ago and have enjoyed building a national brand here.
