As the Streaming revolution surges throughout the world, more and more services outside of the big players like Spotify and Apple Music are emerging. Below is a brief post on hypebot.com containing in depth videos and a podcast on regarding a new streaming service named Ursa.

Currently, in the beta phase, the new service is poised to make a big impact in the streaming world. The creators have developed a new experience which centers around engagement, information and discovery. These factors are often not utilized to their potential in the current streaming environment.

URSA intends to create an intensive experience similar to the recent pasts of vinyl. The tracks housed on URSA would contain such detail as producers, engineers, mixers, songwriters, management company etc. These individuals could also carry profiles on the service. That combined with detailed liner notes and discographies is destined to promote an environment more geared towards discovery as all this information would be linkable.

For example, a track containing inofrmation on the producer would have linkable information of all that producer’s tracks. That would naturally induce listeners that enjoy the work of that producer to discover more of their works.
