A shootout has occurred near the Pannananda Junction in the Modara at around 3 pm today (10), stated Police Media Spokesperson.

Police stated that two persons who arrived on a motorbike had
opened fire at a group travelling on a three-wheeler.

Reportedly, five persons including a female had sustained injuries in the incident and had been admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo.
