Recipe:
This card design was very special to me because a friend of the family, Daisy, lost a family member and we sent one to her. I used a few of these cards for recent sad occasions and made a couple of extras because I’m always in need of Sympathy Cards. Last spring, I created sympathy cards using the Delightful Daisy suite and since then, a perfect stamp came in The Calypso card base is 5.5” by 4.25”. Cut a 5.25″ by 4″ piece of Delightful Daisydesigner series paper. Attach the dsp with snail or rolling adhesive. Using the Big Shot, cut an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Stamp the “With Sympathy” sentiment from the Giftable Greetings Paper Pumpkin kit using Night of Navy. Sponge around the edges of the oval using Daffodil Delight. Attach the oval to the dsp using dimensionals or foam adhesives. Cut a heart out of Whisper White card stock using the Wood Crate framelits. Sponge the heart with Calypso Coral until the ink is evenly spread. Attach the heart with foam adhesives. Attach three pieces of coordinating ribbon using rolling adhesive.
