Australia Is Set To Replace Passports With Biometric Identification By 2019

In July of 2017, Australia has started its ambitious plan to Replace Passports with Facial Recognition Technology. The ‘Seamless Traveller’ system is set to be implemented across all airports in Australia by 2019. The comprehensive biometric identification system will put to use facial recognition technology, retina and fingerprint scans to speed up the immigration process.
